My husband Steve just picked up our new Babydoll ewe lamb Maggie. She is two months old and adorable. We have never had a babydoll lamb before and this will be a new expereince for us. We are trying to gain her confidence but she is very skittish. It seems like most of goats and sheep are at first but if you put the time and effort into handling them its a wonderful feeling to go out to the barn and have them run up at the sight of you!
It's supposed to snow later and we are trying to make sure their is enough straw for bedding in all of the shelters and barn for all of the animals. I am working on dyeing some wool for roving and getting some samples for Phat fiber ready...http://phatfiber.blogspot.com.
